This time, the result is a short film, an adrenalin game taking place during a street festival. Aesthetically, Diakur follows up on his previous film, but technically, he searches for new possibilities of his method.

It’s hard to survive in an inhospitable agglomeration of filth, even for the stray cat who is the main protagonist of this 3D animated film. The cat finds a soul mate in a mysterious Indian chief. The film combines virtual puppets with computer simulations and artfully utilises fractional surfaces and the colour spectrum.

We know Nikita Diakur, the creator of Ugly, as an innovator pushing animation to the boundaries of computer games. He likes to explore the possibilities of making animated films without animation. His latest film is an experiment: Diakur has created his own avatar, a computer puppet, and tries to teach it to do a backflip. This humorous film is interesting mainly for animators.
