  • WOO-HOO!

Despite its title, this pixilated film portrays unsuccessful dating. The film’s main protagonist with a horse’s head uses an unconventional dating app reminiscent of old 8-bit games to help him find a soul mate. But even the best dating app cannot anticipate the reactions of the unicorns that we sometimes think we are.

  • The More I Know

This lively film with a very distinct artistic style tells the story of a man who is about to die and wants to share his life story. We explore his memories and see him as a baby, back when he was confronted with the mysteries of life for the first time. He was exposed to very strange events but everything and everyone around him assured him that everything is in order. But when he left the secure territory of his childhood, he found that the ground beneath his feet was not so firm.

  • Individuals

This associative study based on a stream of seemingly unrelated photographs was created in a semester project as a part of guerrilla mapping. The left frame depicts city scenes, the right frame forest scenes. It’s up to the viewers to detect and find similar elements and connections in two different worlds.

  • Happy End

Happy End is a dark comedy about death but, as the title suggests, with a happy end. The story revolves around a series of strange accidents connected with the recurring discovery of the same corpse. The individual situations are so specific though, that several suspects come to mind. The filmmaker’s original style permeates both the visual aspect and the story of the film.

  • Keep Out

A disturbing story set in the near future. People are holed up in their small dwellings and live in a virtual world. Everyone films and streams various videos. They don’t have a clue that they’re not free until one of them goes outside. But the discovery of the outer reality is something their virtual masters aren’t happy to see.

  • Old Gramophone’s Ghostly Tones

Two thieves are reluctant to steal but their evil boss doesn’t want to hear it. So the two clumsy burglars, who would much rather go dancing somewhere, have to break into an abandoned house. Once inside, they stumble across a gramophone and release a bunch of ghosts from it. This musical slapstick was made by three students of the Tomáš Baťa University in Zlín as their graduate film.

  • Beyond the Silence

This environmental poem explores the beauty and symmetry of natural elements ordinarily hidden to the human eyes. We live in a time of fear. Fear that the Earth is dying. We are dying because we are Earth. Just remember that you are a part of nature and don’t be afraid. Watch. Look beyond. Mother Earth. You are a child.
